Our stone showroom in Altamonte Springs is filled with over 12,000 square feet of quartz, granite, and stone materials. We employ top-tier stone fabricators, design specialists, and countertop installation experts to provide the best and fastest countertop installation in Orlando.
The Owner
Walter Pianta
Walter truly lives the American dream. A native to Brazil, Walter came to the US in 2005. He quickly found a position working for a granite company and, within six months, advanced to installing and fabricating granite full time. By day, Walter was absorbing all he could about the granite business. By night, he was teaching himself English and Spanish. In 2009, the economy crashed which forced the granite company he was working for to close, leaving Walter to search for a new position.
After working with a very small granite company for two years, Walter had an epiphany. He loves this business and he felt in his heart that it was time that he open his own granite company. Walter bought the company he was working for and on November 2, 2011, Affordable Granite Concepts was born. With no money, no credit and just one employee, Walter worked hard building his granite business. Today, Affordable Granite Concepts installs 50 to 100 countertops every week.
I’m very blessed to love what I do. I fell in love with the granite business a long time ago and that flame is still burning. It’ a privilege to wake up every day at 4am, go to my shop and work with the best employees in the granite business. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

We offer discounts for those who give back to our country
The Military
We provide a 10% discount to all members of the military, active or retired. Simply show your military ID when you meet with our design team, and they will include the discount when creating your quote.
Non - Profit Organizations
We give a 10% discount to all Orlando based nonprofit businesses. If you run any community organization, let us know when placing your order and we will feed 10% of that cost right back into the same community as a way to say thank you.
Community Organizers
We support our local Orlando-based community organizations, and give 10% of any orders back to those same organizations when they use our services. Firefighters
We provide a 10% discount to all firefighters. Simply show identification that proves you are a firefighter when you meet with our design team, and they will include the discount when creating your quote.
Police
We provide a 10% discount to all police officers. Simply show your badge or police ID when you meet with our design team, and they will include the discount when creating your quote.
